9.10.2009

Today we (Tanya and Masha) had practice in the morning till lunch in the bakery. Making loves (loafs) becomes easier and easier. We also tried put bread into the oven and here we must admit we still need some practice. It’s not so easy to put a soft, well grown loaf into a hot oven little hands :). We keep on trying. Pasha and Masha were participating in the wine making process. They were pressing the red wine. It’s almost finished. Then we all went to the kitchen to make lunch. Today we made pasta “all’amatriciana”. It’s made with bacon and onion and guess what? Of course tomato sauce! Usually you use long pasta for it like spaghetti № 12or bucatini (spaghetti with a whole in it). But it is as tasty as it with short pasta as well. Almost everybody had a repetition. Yummy!!! In the siesta time we helped to prepare the tables and chairs for Sunday. We are really looking forward to Sunday it will be special day, we hope. Later about 6.00 p.m. Pasha and Masha the cook went for the first time to practice to the restaurant that collaborates with Fattoria Boilogica. They were very stressed and worried but we will see tomorrow morning their first impressions. While they were working in the restaurant we finally learnt how to make onion soup. We have never cut so much onions in our life. We were all crying in the kitchen together with Alexandra (: It was interesting as it was a new taste for us.

For a moment it’s all from us. We’ll try to uploaded the blog as often as possible.
